It’s that time of year…
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for all who have participated in and supported the Community Tango Orchestra Project. I’m continually inspired by the great things that keep growing from this initiative.
In the spirit of music making/sharing I want to share with all of you a little glimpse of my pre-tango musical life. I decided this year to release about a decade’s worth of original Christmas carols, most of which I recorded during my time as staff composer at Wheeler Audio (1994-2004). For years, I had the tradition to create a song to share with friends, family, and colleagues. Now, in the age of streaming music, I’ve decided to share these more widely. Words, music, vocal, and instrumental performances are my own, its a bit of a journey, mostly hopeful, sometimes critical/cynical, but always good natured.
